Mission Statement

Our department exists in order to prepare our students (majors and minors) for entry-level professional positions or further education. In doing so, we service the educational and cultural needs of the University community and Southwestern Pennsylvania 

What's Happening?

• Our annual production of The Nutcracker will be held at the State Theatre in Uniontown.  This magical ballet will delight audiences on December 8th and 9th at 8pm and December 9th and 10th at 2pm.  Please call the State Theatre at 724.439.1360 to reserve your tickets to this holiday classic!
• Auditions for our spring season will be held on Thursday, January 18th at 5pm.  The location will be announced at a later date.  Upperclassmen should come with a monologue prepared.  Anyone wishing to be considered for the musical You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown should prepare 16 bars of music.  An accompanist will be provided; no a capella singing.
