This is an excavation map of a large, lowland Prehistoric American Indian habitation site located in Greene County, Pennsylvania. The site was completely excavated by NPW Consultants, Inc. in 1982 (all excavators were university students and alumni) and represents a single village 42 meters (140 feet) in diameter. The village is composed of ten post hole alignments (houses) and a large community structure referred to as a 'petal' house. Excavation identified 54 cultural features and recovered a sizable collection of ceramic, bone, and lithic artifacts. Radiocarbon assays place the site in the 16th Century.
