The fundamental
power of the
ILPP rests in its
ability to communicate news about, to and from the legal, criminal and civil justice
systems. The ILPP delivers commentary through various media. To
illustrate, the ILPP may issue an opinion, or a series of conflicting
opinions about a case currently being reviewed by the United States Supreme Court, or
communicate a critique, either positive or negative, about a piece of pending or
enacted legislation. These works will be available to the public through outlets
such as these:
Position Papers/White Papers on Select Issues
Formal Studies of Particular Justice Problems
Forums for Debate and Exchange on Perennial Problems in the Legal System
Open Sessions at Host or Competing Universities
Alliances of Colleges and Universities with Similar Interests
Publication of a Monthly Newsletter
Press Releases on Topical Questions
Interaction with Local Media especially Television
Development of a Web Location with Justice Links and Resources
Publication of a Scholarly Journal
