Advisory Committee
The Advisory Board members for the Master in Legal Studies are qualified in procedural and substantive legal analysis and share a bona fide passion about the accessibility of legal studies curricula at the graduate level. The Advisory Board is not pro forma, but is an active participant in the assurance that quality exists, that the subject matter is accurate and cutting edge, and that the systematic circles the board members come from will be generous participants in the web based instruction. The board members will:
- participate in quarterly meetings to review program implementation, operation and direction
- act as liaisons for career building, occupational studies and job market assistance
- appear as guest or adjunct lecturers and provide other instructional assistance
- share appropriate agency resources
- participate in grant, research and other developmental activity for legal and justice agencies
- become members and participate in California's Institute for Law and Public Policy
- cooperate with program delivery for staff and personnel
take part in an annual assessment and review of curriculum
