We are pleased to announce that our Community and School Counseling programs received CACREP accreditation in January, 2006!!

Our master's degree programs in both School Counseling and Community Agency Counseling fulfill the degree requirements needed for both the PA professional counseling license PA Licensure Act 136 of 1998 , as well as the National Counselor Examination (NCE). After completing the master's degree, this exam is the next step toward licensure.

The Counselor Education Department offers graduate programs in counseling leading to:

• A Master of Science degree in Community Agency Counseling (CACREP accredited),
• A Master of Education degree and certification as a School Counselor (CACREP accredited),
• Certification as a School Counselor.
