Registration
Registration can be very confusing for some students. At Cal U, we try to make the process as simple and as easy as possible. For the first term, we encourage students to contact the Office of Web-based programs to register. This is so we can ensure that student’s understand the registration process. After the first term, students are always welcome to contact the Office of Web-based programs to register, but students are also welcome to register themselves. Most of our web-based programs are cohort-based, so it’s important to know which sections of the courses are slated for that term and the course call numbers you need to use, so you stay within your predetermined cohort. The Office of Web-based programs will provide this information to you each term, so there is no guessing involved!
To register online, students should follow these directions:
Registration Instructions for Web-based Students:
- Log onto Web for Students at http://sisweb.calu.edu/ . PLEASE NOTE: In order to access Web for Students your internet browser must be either Internet Explorer or Netscape v6 (or higher). Click on the link ‘Enter Student Services’.
- Enter your Student ID. Your Student ID is your SSN with no hyphens or dashes.
- Enter your PIN. Your pin is your six digit birth date or the password you chose when you completed your application online. NOTE: If you are unable to login after five attempts, your user account will be locked and will not be available until the next day.
- Once you are logged in, use the menus to add courses. You will be adding your courses by simply entering the call numbers into the add boxes.
- If you experience any problems, please contact the office below during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST).
