Completing Your Perkins Loan Requirements

In order to finalize your Perkins Loan, you must complete some Perkins Loan requirements on-line with our Perkins Loan Servicer, ECSI. In order to complete this electronic process, you must have your Federal Personal Identification Number (PIN) available when you log on to the ECSI website. The Federal PIN is the same number you used to electronically sign your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you do not have a Federal PIN or have lost your PIN, please go to the Federal PIN Website at www.pin.ed.gov  and request either a new or duplicate PIN.

Listed below are the steps that you must follow in completing these requirements on-line at ECSI:

Step 1: Log on to ECSI's website at https://www.ecsi.net/prom19  

Step 2: When requested, enter your Social Security Number, last name and date of birth.

Step 3: When requested, provide your PIN when on the “Student Authentication Network page”.

Step 4: Please be sure to check the box at the bottom of the pages requesting your acceptance of the terms of the loan.

Step 5: Please provide complete reference information for yourself, family member, and two additional references. Failure to complete all lines accurately will keep this loan from disbursing to your account.

Step 6: Complete the Perkins Master Promissory Note – Please read this document carefully as in contains all of the rights and responsibilities regarding this loan. Once you have read the promissory note, you must electronically sign the Perkins Master Promissory Note at the bottom of the page. The electronic signature includes a check off box plus a line for you to enter your full legal name.

Please Note: Your Perkins Loan cannot be disbursed to your student account until all electronic requirements are accurately completed. Timely completion of these requirements will prevent delays in the disbursement of your Perkins Loan funds to your student account.
