Financial Aid Steps to Success for Global Online Students

Steps to Success

  1. Application to California University of PA with payment of $25 application fee (first semester)
     
  2. Complete and submit the “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FASFA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov each year.  Listed below are the FAFSA forms you must file if you are attending the following semesters and wish to apply for federal financial aid:

    Please Note:  All students should complete the required FAFSA form at least two months prior to the start of the semester you are applying for financial aid assistance.
     
  3. Acceptance notification from California University of PA (first semester)
     
  4. Register for courses on-line (each semester)
     
  5. Complete the Summer Enrollment Intent Form at  (each summer semester).
     
  6. CompleteFederal Stafford Loan Entrance Interview on-line at www.aessuccess.org (first-time Stafford Loan borrower at Cal U) by clicking on “entrance and exit counseling”
     
  7. Complete Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) at www.aessuccess.org (first-time Stafford Loan borrower only) by clicking on “applying for a Stafford Loan
     
  8. Check Billing On-Line at http://sisweb.cup.edu (each semester)
     
  9. If financial aid award is not sufficient to cover charges, payment of the difference must be made by the tuition due date. (each semester)
     
  10. Payments can be made via the web at  http://sisweb.cup.edu/
     
  11. Refund checks for overpayment by financial aid are mailed via USPS within 14 days of credit balance  (each semester)
