2006-2007 Financial Aid Award Information
How Your Financial Aid Package Was Determined

The following information describes your rights and responsibilities as a financial aid recipient and explains how your financial aid package was awarded. Please refer to your award offer when reading these instructions.

When you completed the Renewal Free Application for Federal Student Aid or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you applied for four types of need-based federal financial assistance (Pell Grant, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, the Perkins Loan, and Work-Study), and took the first step in securing a Federal Subsidized/Unsubsidized Stafford Loan. The results of the FAFSA analysis provided us with the necessary data to determine your eligibility for assistance from these programs. Your PHEAA Grant eligibility was also based on information from the FAFSA form and is administered by American Education Services/Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (AES/PHEAA).

Your financial aid package may consist of one or more of the following programs:
  • Federal Pell Grant
  • Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
