LIVETEXT
ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIO SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT
All Cal U Teacher Education candidates; undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate, are now required to purchase a LIVETEXT account. This software once purchased will be active for the entire time that you are an active Cal U student.
Beginning Fall 2007 students who are in the introductory classes will be required to use their LIVETEXT account to complete a Conceptual Framework Survey. Starting in Spring 2008, all students will be using LIVETEXT more and more, completing your portfolio, surveys, applying for Admission to Teacher Education, and Recommendation for Student Teaching. By the 2010-2011 LIVETEXT will be the only method that all Signature Assessements will be turned in for assessment.
Teacher education candidates that use financial aid to purchase textbooks at the bookstore can use financial aid to purchase LIVETEXT. If you purchase LIVETEXT through the bookstore, do not throw away the brochure, it contains information that is needed to register. If the brochure is lost, you will need to purchase another license at full price. Please note that financial aid can only be used to purchase LIVETEXT during the first week of the semester.
To purchase LIVETEXT online with a credit card, please go to: http://college.livetext.com. Also note that you CANNOT use Financial Aid when purchasing online.
