Program Tracks
The MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion degree program is intended for post-baccalaureate students who want more intensive background and expertise in the specialized area of one of the following tracks:
1.) Wellness & Fitness
2.) Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention
3.) Rehabilitation Science
4.) Sport Psychology

For admission into this program, the student must have completed and/or met the following general requirements:
A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
A minimum 2.75 undergraduate grade point average, based on a 4.0 scale. If a prospective student does not meet this requirement, candidates will be considered if they submit two professional letters of recommendation and have a minimum undergraduate QPA of 2.50.
Acceptance to the California University's School of Graduate Studies and Research.
Applicants may be a teacher, military member, fitness, health, or wellness professional OR be certified, licensed, or registered in one of the following: Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician, Nursing, Physician Assistant, Nutrition, Chiropractic, or other healthcare profession.
Submission of a resume or curriculum vitae. Resume or CV must list three references.
NOTE: A phone or e-mail interview with the Program Coordinator may be requested to determine potential for success in the web-based learning environment.
