Assistant Professor Scott Hargraves
Dr. Hargraves joined the Physical Therapist Assistant program at California University in the fall of 2006. He serves as Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education for the PTA program.
Dr. Hargraves earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College in 1989. He obtained his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers / University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1996. In 2005, he earned the degree Doctor of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Hargraves has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1994. In 2005, he became a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist. He has practiced Physical Therapy in Southwestern Pennsylvania since 1996, most recently at The Washington Hospital. He has served as an adjunct faculty member with the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Wheeling Jesuit University.
Dr. Hargraves and his wife live on a farm in Washington County where they enjoy raising their children, Katahdin sheep, and a variety of weeds.
