Brain Oddi, MS, CPT, PES, CSCS          

Brian Oddi, MS,CPT,PES,CSCS is an Instructor in the Department of Health Science and Sport Studies.  He holds a Master's degree in Health Science from California University of PA and is a team member with the National academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  Brian is currently working on his Ph.d in e-learning. 

Brian has been working with the National Association of Speed and explosion where he works as the online coordinator designing classes, and online certification programs.  He is a certified personal trainer (CPT) a performance enhancement specialist (PES) through NASM.  Brian has been certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA) and is currently a speed and explosion specialist (NASE).  

He holds a second master's degree in Education and is the Director of Athletic Performance at California University where he runs and operates the strength training programs and facilities with a staff of 12.  He works with the Football, Basketball, Tennis, and Swim teams.  Brian spent the summer of 2006 working with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He was able to work in fitness clubs, sports specific training facilities, work shops and in the classroom.  

In May of 2005, Brian was drafted into the Canadian Football Leauge (CFL) by the Ottawa Renegades where his career was cut short due to injury.  In 2006, Brian then signed a two year contract with the Hamilton Tiger Cats (CFL).  Brian teaches Performance Enhancement Specialization, Current Topics in Athletics, Current topics in fitness and wellness, NASM Program Design, and Current Health Issues at California University. 

Brian is happily married to Michelle Noelani and enjoys spending his free time with her and their dog "Moki".  He is very active in the weight room and enjoys to workout and explore new ideas and research in the field of Performance Enhancement.  

In 2008, Brian took on a head personal training role with LA Fitness where he trains and educates up and coming personal trainers.  Brian is up to date with the latest forms of technology in elearning and is very accessible to his students working hand and hand in the global online environment.
