Tom Pucci is the Athletic Director at California University of Pennsylvania.  He has held this position since the fall of l991.  Before arriving at California University, Pucci was the Athletic Director at the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg from 1987-91 and from 1984-87 at California State University at Sacramento.  Before entering the profession of athletic administration, Pucci was the Head Tennis Coach and Associate Professor of Physical Education at the University of Arkansas from 1974-84.

Dr. Pucci graduated from Sacramento State University in 1969 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education.  He earned his Master's Degree in Physical Education in 1971 from the University of Pacific and his Ph.D. in Physical Education and Education Administration in 1973.  Pucci was instrumental in starting the Sports Management curriculum at the University of Arkansas along with Dr. Robert Hay, Professor of Business Administration in 1978.

Dr. Pucci is an active faculty member on campus, serving on the university-wide tenure and promotion committees.  He has been a member of the university-wide grievance committee.  He was interim grievance chairman for the l996-97 academic year.

Tom resides in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania with his wife Debbie and two children, Camron and Michelle.
