Robert H. Kane, Jr., Ed.D, ATC, PT
Robert Kane is a Professor in the Department of Health Science and Sport Studies and an Assistant Athletic Trainer at California University of Pennsylvania. He serves as both an undergraduate and graduate faculty member, teaching classes in therapeutic modalities, therapeutic exercise, pharmacology, and sports therapy. Prior to coming to California University in 1988, Dr. Kane was the Head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. Dr. Kane's undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy is from the University of Connecticut. He earned his master's degree in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Doctorate in Education from West Virginia University in 1992.
Bob has been involved in the profession of Athletic Training for over 28 years. He is a licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, and a Certified Emergency Medical Technician. Dr. Kane is an approved instructor for therapeutic exercise and therapeutic modalities courses in Athletic Training Education Programs in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kane resides in California, Pennsylvania with his two children, Kristin and Devon. He enjoys coaching youth sports, collecting baseball cards, and owning harness horses.
