Adjunct Alan Russell

Alan Russell, MS, ATC, NASM-PES

A noted athletic trainer specializing in professional baseball, Alan Russell heads NASM's performance enhancement and athletic reconditioning programs.  His work with the world champion Anaheim Angels baseball club has produced dramatic results in off-season training.  He has also reconditioned hundreds of professional baseball and football players as well as elite track and field, college and high-school athletes.

Alan received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boise State University in 1992 and his Master of Science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2004.  Currently, Alan serves as the Director of Education for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (Calabasas, CA).  Alan is also an Adjunct Faculty member at California University of Pennsylvania.
