Michael A. Clark, DPT, MS, NASM-PES

An industry visionary, Dr. Michael A. Clark is the creator of NASM's exclusive Optimum Performance TrainingTM method, used by hundreds of thousands of personal and athletic trainers, licensed physical therapists, and athletes worldwide.  As president and CEO of NASM, his innovation and leadership have redefined the company as an international leader in education and certification for fitness, performance and sports-medicine professionals.

A noted author, lecturer and physical therapist, he has rehabilitated, reconditioned and trained hundreds of professional and Olympic athletes. He is currently the Sports Physical Therapist for the Phoenix Suns and an adjunct faculty member of the California University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Clark received his Bachelor of Science degree (Physical Therapy) from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse; Master of Science degrees (Sports Medicine and Human Movement Science) from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; and Doctoral of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
