THE TUTORING CENTER

The Department of Academic Development Services provides free tutoring to university students. The purpose is to give each student the opportunity to develop skills and acquire knowledge needed for academic success. Tutors identify the students' academic needs and provide tutoring in most curriculum areas and supplemental instruction in selected courses.

Peer tutors review lecture notes and assess student knowledge; teach vocabulary; design and administer pretests, and audit courses. Using both their subject matter knowledge and interpersonal skills, tutors build a close rapport with the students they serve.

The TUTORING CENTER can help you:

  • review lecture notes
  • acquire test-taking skills
  • increase your vocabulary

Our trained and experienced tutors are eager to help.

All tutoring sessions are free!!!
