MESSAGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSON

Welcome to the Business and Economics department. We are pleased that you have taken this opportunity to learn about our Department. Our program of study provides solid training in business fundamentals and enables the interested students to specialize in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology Management, and Marketing. Students from other departments may pursue a minor in various functional areas of Business and Economics. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with the training and skills necessary to deal with diverse business and economic problems. We have a highly qualified and dedicated faculty with diverse backgrounds. Students have access to excellent advisement for planning programs that meet their individual needs. The internship opportunities allow students to experience the professional work environment as part of their academic preparation. Various student organizations in our department offer an opportunity to the students to develop the leadership skills.
