Career Services provides services and resources
for all students, alumni, faculty and staff:
 

Career Advantage
Use the Career Advantage Decision Tree and Resource Guide to help your students to gain a “career advantage.”  Resources listed in the guide can help to answer students’ questions regarding majors, career options, and preparing for graduate school or work.

Cal U Career Network
A network of Cal U alumni who are eager to speak with students about careers!  Over 200 alumni profiles are listed on the College Central Network.  The Cal U Career Network alumni volunteers are willing to:

  • talk with students or alumni by e-mail, by phone, or in person for an “informational interview”

  • provide job shadowing experiences, or even hire an intern or Co-op!

  • speak to classes or clubs

College Central Network

Online job and resume posting service shared by the 14 PASSHE universities.  Post your GA positions (can be posted for CalU students only), and encourage your students to post their resumes for internships, Co-op and full-time positions.

 

Cooperative Education (Co-op)

Paid, career-related experience, not for academic credit.  Students can participate as early as their sophomore year!

Find the latest statistics for your program’s graduates.

Job and Career Fairs

Over 20 job and career fairs are offered each year, attended by up to 150 employers!  Encourage your students to visit Career Services for information on preparing, and for assistance with transportation to off-campus fairs.
