Government Agency Coordination Office (GACO), PTAC
The Government Agency Coordination Office (GACO) of California University of Pennsylvania is a Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) which provides services to companies interested in pursuing federal, state and local contracting, subcontracting and export opportunities. The main office is located at California University of Pennsylvania and operates two satellite offices in Pittsburgh and at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
GACO is a public service program sponsored by California University of Pennsylvania and funded by the Defense Logistics Agency and the Sarah Scaife Foundation. For over 150 years California University has been a vital institution in the Monongahela Valley. The University has a strong tradition of excellence in the application of scientific, technological, and business disciplines. GACO is part of California University's mission of being involved with surrounding communities. Since establishment of the program in 1985, GACO has helped regional businesses obtain over $2.2 billion in contracts.
GACO's service area is Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene and Washington counties. All offices are open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Businesses interested in GACO services must complete a client application.
