Faculty Development Resources
The Faculty Professional Development Center serves to focus the efforts of the university as it responds to the growing requests for support of faculty professional growth in all areas of professional endeavor, but specifically in the areas of scholarship and enhancement of teaching.
Apply for a Grant or Award
The Center, working within the purview of the Faculty Professional Development Committee, is the major facilitator for faculty professional development at California University of Pennsylvania. The Center is the faculty member's single contact for the processing and the granting of the FPDC grants and awards.
Reservations may be made for the following equipment by e-mailing the FPDC:
- laptops with wireless cards
- infocus projectors for use with laptops
- digital camera
- video camera
- digital video camera
- projection screen
- flip charts
Request a Consultation
The Center Coordinator is available for consultation regarding your personal professional development needs. You may request classroom visitations, a personal interview, as well as a classroom videotaping. For a consultation contact the Faculty Center at fpdc@calu.edu.
