Services for New Faculty
The Faculty Center offers a variety of services for new faculty at California University of Pennsylvania. These programs are designed to assist faculty in becoming more knowledgeable about student learners, locating the resources they need to develop as teaching professionals and locating themselves within a community of colleagues.
New Faculty Orientation
An orientation will be held prior to the beginning of each fall term to introduce new faculty to California University of Pennsylvania. CUP officials and faculty members will provide information about university procedures and programs as well as interactive sessions in which faculty can share experiences and strategies about good teaching. Other Services Provided for New Faculty
The following workshops are provided by the FPDC Subcommittees specifically for new faculty during their first and second years of appointment (in addition to the schedule of FPDC workshops normally offered by the Faculty Center):
